Moderate/Intensive Intervention Specialist 2014/2015 School Year
The Geauga Achieve program is seeking an Intervention Specialist for the 2014/2015 school year with a Moderate/Intensive license. Qualified candidates will have experience working with students with multiple disabilities, effective implementation of behavioral interventions, experience using ABA and TEACCH methodologies, familiarity with the Ohio Academic Content Standards and Extended Standards, experience with leading an instructional team, and strong written and oral communication skills. The Geauga County Educational Service Center has 2 permanent full time school psychologist openings for the upcoming school year. All candidates must hold a valid Ohio Department of Education School Psychology License.
A qualified substitute Occupational Therapist is sought to supervise treatment and perform evaluations in a K-12 school setting. Duration of the position will be throughout the conclusion of the current academic year. Academic experience is preferred.
PRN Substitute Speech and Occupational Therapists for short and long term assignments, including emergency caseload coverage, compensatory service and home instruction. Compensation is on an hourly basis which includes travel and mileage. Assignments may be located throughout Geauga County.
Short and Long Term Substitute Teacher
Mild-Moderate and Moderate Intensive Special Education certified teachers sought for short and long term substitute assignment in GCESC classrooms located throughout Geauga County. Preferred candidates will possess HQT status in the core academic areas; have experience in implementing behavioral interventions; knowledgeable in common core standards and differentiated instruction
